Living Room & Entry Way

Being a military family, my husband and I mastered the art of moving and setting up our home with all the basics (coach, tv, bed, etc.) early on. I found the key to making a place feel like “home” is all of those personal touches. If you can’t tell already, I am a bona-fide girly girl, and my husband well, is not. Although we share a lot of interests, our home décor preferences weren’t 100% compatible at first. We bought our first condo together last year and have fused our styles together to create a home that is uniquely ours.

I’ve revealed glimpses into my home  throughout my blog but never felt ready to show a complete tour. I’ve come to the realization that I probably won’t ever feel 100% ready. I’m pleased with how far we’ve come but there are still some things I’d like to update, such as the painting in our living room we just put up to fill up the space. Making a “home” is a slow process but one that I am thoroughly enjoying. It is like a never ending hunt, I am always searching for something new that I can bring into this little nest we have created for ourselves.

  1. That ceiling lamp and mirror that almost looks like a sun are beautiful! What brand/store is the lamp from?

    • Thanks! The chandelier is my favorite piece in my living room. It’s from Pottery Barn and called the 6 arm Camilla chandelier. The mirror is from Target.
